One hour after arrival, wondering aimlessly, I heard gun-shots. After shots ended I "got on top" of the robbers to take these "journalistic" photos. Later (after the bandits had been taken to jail) photographers from the numorous London scandal-sheets arrived. One pressured me to meet his boss who attempted to purchase my photos.

Since I wanted to remain an amatuer, I refused but nevertheless gave him my negatives. The next day, upon viewing my name and pictures, on the front page and the centerfold, I relinquished my "virgin status" and accepted payment - the $cost of my English journey.
