London Bandits: Artist's Sole Photojournalism

One hour after arrival, wandering aimlessly, I heard gun-shots. After shots ended I "got on top" of the robbers to take these "journalistic" photos. Later (after the bandits had been taken to jail) reporters from the London scandal-sheets arrived. One pressured me to sell his newspaper these photos.

Since I wanted to remain an amatuer, I gave him my film (sans charge). The next day, upon viewing my name and pictures on the front page and the centerfold, I relinquished my "virgin status" and accepted payment - the cost of my English journey.
