Pushkar India - Site of world's largest camel fair where 200,000 tourists descend on a town of 18,000 population.  Moreover, it is a major "religious" capital with a holy lake. Between the hoards of people covering every square yard selling / buying / arguing/ competing to exist since 80% of the visitors are poor & from rural areas & live on the streets during celebration. and the sacrifices, candle burning, nude (discreetly) bathing the scene is surrealistic out of a Beunel film.  And for those from Western countries who can afford luxuries there are no hotels --- but that is another story.

Better to sleep with a sober camel than a drunken infidel. - Old far eastern proverb
